Closeness is difficult for me. I am struggling to find my footing in intimacy; in self-acceptance, and in allowing myself to find comfort when it is a reflex to deny it. I am still learning about myself, and it is terrifying, and fascinating, and always going to continue, onwards.

My work is composed of hand-woven, hand-dyed fibers, created on a loom that I have constructed from a recycled picture frame and nails. These woven fibers are evidence of a long, imperfect process, and each color is unique, dyed in very small individual batches. The materials chosen
to dye fiber with is a result of experimentation and research on which organic materials create the most vibrant colors.
