Rooted in the underlying goal of comfort, the forms, animations, and sounds in this work express my pursuit of inner calm. I create to relieve stress. As an introvert, the majority of my stress comes from interactions with my surroundings, whether they be people, small spaces, social situations, or time. I believe the best way to relieve stress is to remove those surroundings. When I am creating something, I no longer worry about the people around me, where I am, who I am talking to, or what time it is. I am calm. If I can keep track of time while working, then what I am creating no longer feels like art, but a chore.
